He's my favorite fighter, but I'm being honest.

At 147+ I just don't see a great fighter. No knockouts at the weight. His best win is Antonio Margarito......

What's the hype about at 147+

Yes he beat Bradley at the weight, but Bradley himself was a 140 pounder.

What's the big deal here? Can anyone possibly imagine him ever beating a great welterweight? He's just too small.

To me, the win against the MUCH bigger Margarito is a huge win for Pacquiao.

But what do I know? lol

Not a bad win but hardly living up to the hype of a great welterweight.

Apart from those you mentioned, he knocked out a prime Cotto, hardly gave any rounds to Clottey and Rios, completely destroyed Algieri who was competitive with Khan recently. One would need to be hardly biased to suggest he didn't accomplish anything or never beaten a top WW.

Margarito isn't even close to a great fighter.

And half those fights you listed were below 147.

What did Manny actually accomplish at the full welterweight division?

Those were not catchweights AFAIK, if someone comes in lighter than 147 it's not Manny's fault.

The Cotto and Algieri fights were catchweights.

Both Mayweather and Pacquiao's resumes were far better below 147. In part this was due to a weak division but it was also due to choosiness about opponents. It's one of the main reasons I always laugh about those favoring them in fights against historically great welters.

Manny Pacquaio did something Floyd Mayweather was scared to death to do, He got in the ring with Antonio Margarito & legitimately beat him one of very few to do that.
Given a level playing field with no Vegas /NSAC corruption & be 100% fit I still believe Pacquaio beats Mayweather. Sadly he'll never have the chance because Floyd wont fight anywhere but Vegas where he knows his bogus 0 will be safe
Pacquaio has 10 times the heart & cojones of Mayweather he's a FIGHTER!! Pacquaio is rightfully The Fighter of the decade & the era
