as im sure the more knowledgeable posters on here know, b-hop has a habit of roughhouse tactics and breaking up opponents rhythm with grappling and infighting as he no longer has the engine for the full three rounds so why are people on here bitching on him when he obviosuly fought to the best possible strategy for him we all know that if he were to go toe to toe with calzaghe it would be disaster for him at his age as calzaghe despite not being the great tactician is quick and has a great engine. B-hop i thought was able to assert his authority more on calzaghe than calzaghe was on him the knock down told calzaghe that if wanted to unload he'd be picked apart basically at will and for the first part of the fight i was impressed that bernard had worried calzaghe enough that he was now ebating him to the punch. Of course there were going to be periods when calzaghe would unload his flurries but the idea of clinching is to break the opponents rhythm and stop them from gaining momentum and hopkins did just that and slowed the fight right down to his pace and on his terms.

Calzaghe may have "won" this fight but he was showed up to fairly limited and amateur full props to bernard i felt he did just enough
