young, hungry, fresh, not shot, unbeaten over a **** load of fights, very popular in Mexico

as a Floyd fan id like to see him unify with Alvarez after Cotto

Well, maybe some people do overrate him, but he has some impressive achievements. Lets have a look at the stuff that matters:
    - 727 Boxrec points (it is also his highest total so far)
    - 2nd place in his weight class
    - his last victory, against Cintron, gave him 100 Boxrec points.
    - Cintron is his strongest opponent so far ( 381 Boxrec points) however, Alvarez's biggest Boxrec point gain was actually from the Ndou fight (114 Boxrec points)

Fact which is why he is getting Mosely, and appearing on the Co-Main event in which he wanted no part of. After this in septemeber he should be facing Cotto win or lose, or Kirkland if Molina's appeal is denied. So he can have the wins under his belt and be deserving of a fight with may weather 2013/

it'll be good for what he does after losing to mayweather....kinda like the Lewis win over Vitali. Canelo is only 21!!! He has the chance to be one of the biggest stars in the sport if not the biggest so he'll get plenty of big fights win or lose vs Mayweather and has the chance to cement a HOF career....every big win he has post Mayweather will enhance Mayweathers legacy, especially if he goes on to be the face of boxing.

kirkland injured his shoulder during the fight and subsequently had surgery.

regardless, kirkland is ****, too. canelo and martinez dominating is just a testament on how pathetic this division is right now.

    prime winky wouldve embarrased canelo.

terry norris, tito and feroz woudlve kod him.

****, yory boy woulve put a beatdown on him.

    154-160 is absolutely horrible.
