Work for one of the big bookies and can confirm that yes before the fight the best you could get was 1/18 and yes some had it 1/25.

I got evens with paddy powers for Brooks on points:cool:

you can put a no hoper in as long as the no hoper is a name the public know.

thats why i cant make out the karpency's and krasniqi's, make cleverly vs robin reid, equally retarted matchmaking but at least you'll get some passing trade.

    No it wasn't.

He was 1/8 with Betfred, Skybet and Ladbrokes. 1/9 on Betfair.

Where exactly was he 1/18 or 1/25?

i think the tweet eddie made at 10pm saturday night saying 'kelly brook lesbian orgie on now, sky sports 1' counts for most of the 440k viewers mind.

He was 1/18 with Ladbrokes in their shops 1/25 with paddy power in their shops, FACT. Not sure about online prices which differ from the shops. Will Hill was 1/18 on the day I know that for sure as its where i work.

He was widely available at 1/6 leading up to the fight and was 1/8 on fight night.

So...erm...why don't you pass this sort of information onto the guys at boxnation?

    Give fans-Fights they want
    Give fans-Good fights
    Push fights online
Push fights in the national papers

matchroom seem more progressive puttin believable fights on ( hatton is a big name even if its matthew - brook was a big odds on fav regardless of the exact figure it was a lot nearer to 6 than 25 tho )

marketing it is an event using internet to sell the fights etc. even the way they dress the arena and rings for prizefighter its like they have put some thought into it

****** seems to live in the 80 / 90s - the latest cleverly fight is a great example - pictures of cleverly dressed as a conductor outside the albert hall is his marketing for it.

the standard of the fight will be similar cleverly will be huge odds on fav but its not a believable fight - nobodys heard of who hes fighting and nowadays we can find out what **** we r gettin served up.

even ****** didnt look convinced as his read the guys name out from his sheet at the press conference

Football is popular but stop and take a look at the extent of marketing that goes into every single match - from the papers to ads to build up, the lot. Boxing has Ringside and occassionally we'll get Sky Sports News coverage for the big names. No consistency keeping it in the mainstream.
