    And vice versa?

Both are legends, the greatest of their times, but is there anything one had, that the other lacked?

The boastfulness, Sugar Ray Robinson respected his opponents, praised them following either in defeat or victory.

Sugar Ray Robinson was Muhammad Ali's boxing idol.
You couldn't say "and vice versa" :)

I think Ray had a pink Cadillac. Never heard of Ali having one of those.

Ali was nowhere near the offensive machine that Robinson was. I can count fighters with comparable offensive ability to Robinson's on only one hand.

I know what you mean, sal, but Bonavena and Ron Lyle might say Ali had it. Ray did have a mean streak way beyond even what Ali could show, though, I think.

Possibly. I donn't think Ali ever tried his hand at tap. Ray was no Kelly or Astaire, though. When he tried to specialise after boxing, he insisted on dancing for TV shows and it was embarrassing for the producers because he wasn't actually that good.

As has been said,Ray was better at offensive techniques than Muhammad.

Never seen footage of Ray's dancing though. Actually Joe Bugner said that Muhammad admitted to him that out of the ring,he could n't dance either.

Actually I used to tap dance. Had to quit though as the plumber's bills were getting too expensive.
