He let De La Hoya being competitive and win 4 or 5 rounds, allowed him to be the stalker and he never had Oscar hurt throughout the fight. I still favour Floyd in a Pacquiao-Mayweather matchup....but I think Manny would be able to walk through everything Floyd would land, unlike Hatton who was there to be hit.
    What do you think?

    Not much. It's just styles.

Mayweather is passive at these higher weights. He prefers to soak it up, fight off the ropes, potshot and then really step on the gas later on.

Pacquiao is a ferocious little guy that is really going to expose you if you are old and lacking sharpness.

I see pacquiao taking, this fight in a very competitive fight that goes the distance. If mayweather wins it'll be on decision and if Pacquiao win it'll be decision, since floyd will turn on the brakes and go on survival mode if hurt by the pacquiao.

Nah, I don't think Pacquiao could walk through Mayweather's shots at 147. De La Hoya landed an uppercut that I didn't even see that Manny said hurt him at the post fight press conference. De La Hoya landed a body shot and a few counter punches that made Pacquiao jump back several feet - like they gave him some religion. Manny's ability up in weight is still better than his punch resistance. He's human.

Because I was sure Pac was going to get knocked out and head back down to 135 I didnt even think of a Pac - Mayweather fight, wasnt bothered.

But now I think Pac Vs PBF and Hatton are the best matches in boxing. It should take place at 140 though as fights of this stature should be for a linear world championship.

this eclipses Mayweather's dubious DLH victory for sure.

Mayweather Pac would be at 147 no question about it.

Thinking about it its hard to pick a clear winner.

I would go with Pacman judging on each guy's performance vs Oscar.

Pac's performance was ten times Mayweather's. You have to hang the counter argument on DLH being older and having to make a lower weight, and those aren't bad arguments, but damn that was a dominating performance.

Anything could happen though, its a hard fight to figure maybe we will get to see it. I hope so.

I would even say now that Pac vs Mayweather has to be THE fight to make in boxing at this moment. At 147.

Even though Williams is the man at that weight followed by Margarito, it would still be an interesting fight because both guys are near legends.

Pac man would still lose a very close decision to Mayweather. To be honest this is the REAL fight people should be pushing for now. They should meet at a catchweight.

Manny has no business staying at 147 longer..I cant imagine him going against Margarito, Cotto..You're right 140 is more logical for him.

    :patsch Holy ****!

Mayweather allowed Oscar to win the rounds he managed to win? Fighters, in some instances, can become shot items over night. Oscar wasn't very convincing last time out against Forces, and his performance tonight confirmed that he was either shot, dead at the weight, or both. He needs to retire.

The Oscar that fought Mayweather at 154, was not the same Oscar who fought tonight at 147 for the first time in almost 8 years.

I'd say pac has a chance against PBF... unlike before.
