    Should Frampton be worried?

I think Frampton even after tonight will still really want LSC because he looks a 1 dimensional fighter, come forward in straight lines with his hands up and throws a lot of punches, Reminds me a but of a Super bantemweight version of Nathan Cleverly(no insult intended his a superior boxer to Cleverly). But i feel that if Frampton can hit him with hard counters and outbox him LSC punch rate will decrease dramatically and iv no idea how good this guy will be at boxing on the back foot. I think in Belfat Frampton will definetly win

    No.

I've seen all of Santz Cruz fights since the Vusi Malinga one and he's pretty much a one trick pony, throws 100's of punches and hopes to overwhelm his opponent but once that dosen't work he starts to look pretty average.

I'm pretty sure Frampton beats him fairly handily and i wouldn't be surprised if he stops him too.

If Carl wins his Eliminator in April then Cruz has to fight him next or drop his belt, either way i'm confident Frampton will be WBC Super Bantamweight champion in the summer whoever he fights for that title.

Frampton ko or Santa Cruz outworks him. Do you think the fight will be in the US, maybe on the Floyd September card.

LSC says he will travel to Belfast, whether thats only talk or not i dont know but if he is you have to respect him for that. It makes sense to have the fight in Belfast thats where it will make it the most money

True, but it would be more beneficial to fight on a Floyd ppv, more exposure, It's a tough one. I think it will happen in the US to be honest.

Definetly would be more beneficial for Frampton his already a star in Belfast so a world title win on Floyd's undercard would make him a name in the States

Its not an easy match but LSC is a volume puncher with a very simple style and doesnt have exceptional power. I believe Frampton will be able to make him lower his punch output and win the fight

think Santa Cruz has way too much personally, amazed at the replies here to be honest. One of my favourite fighters currently, the man is a wrecking ball. Got a 7" reach advantage over frampton too...once them hooks start ripping in Frampton will be on his bike sharpish for my money.

Isn't that the equivalent of being a star in say, Lemington Spa, in England?

    Lemington spa population 49,491

    Belfast population 641,638

Odessey arena capacity 15,000, Frampton can basically sell that out on his own so your comparision is invalid. Thats more tickets than Froch can sell in Nottingham

Yeah, but what else in Northern Ireland do you have to be proud of?

If Froch was in Northern Ireland he'd arguably be the greatest sportsman you've ever had.
