the fact that you feel the need to compare ireland to england in sport despite having 9 times the population is idiotic and when that was pointed out to you you dismissed it as the usual irish excuses , that showed the height of ignorance.

How come england isnt as good as america at sport so?

 

We are better than them at football, rugby, cricket and many other sports.

Reality is their national sports are things that we, for the most part, don't care about. Don't think it's a valid comparison at all.

 

Thats because they dont play cricket and barely play rugby or football.

How isnt it a valid comparision? it more valid than you comparing England to Ireland as englands population is 9 times bigger than Ireland while its only 6 times smaller than the USA.

Also Ireland have there own national games too Hurling and Gaelic football, there the number 2 & 3 most popular sports in Ireland which means its not like we focus on boxing,soccer rugby.

And im not talking about there national sports there miles better than england at boxing, athletics, basketball etc why is that?

 

Better at basketball well yes as no one cares or plays that. Athletics actually for size they are not better looking at last olympics and boxing well it can change very quickly. You can win or lose 3 champs in a matter of months

 

Sure Britain only has two real world champions , USA have more in one weight division than the whole of Britain. And you mentioned for size ye do well at athletics but USA are better in total , that's exactly what I was saying to Solaris you can't feel great about having more outstanding sportsman when you have a population nine times the size if another country it's expected that you should be a lot better
