What did you guys think about the Santiago vs Luevano scrap????

    you must be thinking about the soto-lorenzo fight for interim wbc at 130. this fight is for wbo 126 champ.

    i think a draw is the fairest decision. after the match finished, i thought it would go to luevano by split decision. i am not surprised that it was a draw.

    good fight btw.

    But still A QUESTION . . . was the Soto fight declared a NO CONTEST?

    As far as I know that was a "DISQUALIFICATION'. But WBC didn't award the belt due to the circumstances and ordered an immediate rematch.

    that's what it said in boxrec. i don't know if they would change it to an NC.

    Luevano should have won but seemed like Santiago sold himself short. I was rooting for him to pull off the upset but I guess he thought he had it made.

    Me too . . . infact I changed my pick to Santiago by TKO in the ESB prediction league just before the fight started. :D

    Santiago run out of gas . . . reason why when Luevano rested and just tried to hang on . . . Santiago cannot push anymore, Santiago also relaxed. :lol:
