What did you make of our boys Bellew and Cleverly?

I'm not sure how I'm going to remember this one.

not a classic by any means. Entertaining more due to the tension/atmosphere. Would have been a great British/European title fight but neither is world class

 

Im not too sold on Cleverly at the mo and i had Tony winning that fight until he gassed at the end. Also i do think the low blow took a lot of steam out of him.

Tony Bellew got himself a new fan on saturday night. I wish that guy all the best, for the first few rounds, he was schooling Clev. He just needs to work on his stamina. hes got a good chin and hits hard enough to get your attention.

It was a great great fight, edge of the seat stuff.

Shows what a dumb **** you are if you think Bellew is feather fisted. Neither man is elite level and both would lose to the likes of Dawson and Pascal, but to just be an ignorant **** and sling insults shows you to be waste of oxygen.

How are either of them clueless or delusional? They've both achieved more than 90% of pros do in their sport already. The top 10% are the world stars but there is no shame in being a very good level below the elite.

There is shame in being a gobshite ****, so you should feel very ashamed in deed.

 

I'm sorry, but, this was not a classic. It was an ok fight.

I had clevs winning by 1 round

 

I sometimes pop in to read some of the threads but I've never managed to post there on a consistent basis. Same with Classic.

Disappointing from a Cleverly fans point of view like myself. He showed he has a good chin but at times often got out boxed by an average opponent and only just got the victory really. I think the Clev can still go far but he needs a new trainer asap

if clev hadnt changed his style to be more crowd pleasing he would have had an easier night against tony..was a great fight tho
