Floyd still talking about Pacquiao only getting 40% and that he's not budging on the deal. Apart from that, the rest was about his childhood, why he fights, is it the money that motivates him, and stuff about racism regarding black american athletes and the jeremy lin issue.

What did you guys think of it?

Was a total ego booster for floyd, that guy was only there to be a cheerleader and throw Floyd softballs so he could hit them out of the park. There is a reason Floyd doesnt like real reporters like Larry Merchant who ask the tough questions.

BTW wtf qualifies a sociology college professor to hold a televised interview? Because hes black? Wierd.

It was a Larry King-esque interview -- all softballs and pre-reviewed and approved by the guest. It was a great way for Floyd to make himself look good without really getting challenged.

Considering how combative his interviews on ESPN tend to be, it was kind of refreshing. But, don't think he wasn't 100% in charge of that whole deal.

god given = floyd sr given

floyd needs to stop and just admit that if it weren't for floyd sr he would not be where he is today. he himself said that his father forced boxing on him.

he also needs to stop comparing his jail sentence to mlk and malcolm x. they went to jail for things that furthered the african american cause. floyd is going to jail for beating a woman.

he also needs to stop comparing himself to ali. he lacks the depth, character and wit that ali has. accomplishments could also be argued. ali fought all the best of his era and defied the odds several times. has floyd ever even been an underdog?

he was on point with the jeremy lin thing.

    floyd the boxer....brilliant.

    floyd the person....extremely flawed.

As a fan of both Floyd and Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, I hated it. Where were the tough questions? Where was the controversy? Why was he such a cheerleader? He was supposed to be impartial...it was disgusting excuse for an interview.

Floyd needs to make up his mind. Either he likes playing the villain and understands that is the reason why he sells so many ppv's, or he doesn't, not both. You can't say "Nobody understands me..." then say "I love being the bad guy"...?

Reading the above one might think that i am a Floyd hater. I am actually a huge fan, I just really hated this "interview", it was bull****!

"Dr." Michael Eric Dyson, lol all PH.d's are not created equal. Sociology is used as toilet paper in the real world.

For all your criticism, I am sure you are very accomplished in life. Comments like "Everything he says is dead wrong", let me know that you are a very limited person. Have a great day though! :good
