What did you think of ESPN Friday Night Fights card yesterday?

    I thought they put a pretty good card together and even better it was free.

    Not bad, but the promoter Ohner is second rate scum, and so are his fighters.

    mediocre at best. neither solis or gamboa are overly impressive.

    I agree. I always miss FNF's during the off season (read: football season) and that was a fine premier show for 2009. Good action, KO's, Mr. Hopkins in studio, Joe T. and Teddy Atlas.

    I can't vote because I neglected to tune in to ESPN 2.... ESPN is a trash network that bites the rod deep down...... One or two decent cards a year is NOT enough to make-up for the trash / crap that they normally feed us throughout the year.....

    I'm surprised how much Gamboa is getting bashed today. He definitely has flaws, but not impressive? Defensively nope, but his speed is impressive. Boxing fans are a fickle bunch. They hate Klitschko because he's not reckless enough, Gamboa is now being hated on because he is too reckless.

    I only saw Gamboa's fight so I can't say.But I enjoyed the fight,good season opener.Kinda worried about Gamboa's flaws who don't seem to go away.

    Yep...hes getting hate on here...its bad because hes so spectacular and fun to watch but boxing fans in general just never seems to be satisfied...:?

    I felt the card was entertaining, and they had Hopkins in studio. Works for me.
