What did you think of the Rogan stoppage- should have let him finish out the round?

Is this really a question? The count was at like 15 by the time Rogan actually got himself together

Fury would've dug in another before the end and the brit ref octopus can claim its victim.

Not that I was impressed with Fury.

Beating a inactive 40 year old part time cabbie is hardly 'world class'.

Fury is a bad knock out waiting to happen.

So which is it? Fury's opponents are given too little time to recover or too much? You seem to be agreeing with that post.

    There is a clear distinction.

Ample time to beat a ten count/standing 8 is one thing.

Being waved off or having a towel come in when you're probably fit to ride out the round and maybe recover during the rest period is another.

    Two separate issues.

Sorry IB but thats a **** post (or a troll) and you probably know it. Was Rogans corner in on the grand conspiracy?

If its a troll then I apologize.

It's a non-issue. It doesnt matter if there is one second left in the round, if a boxer is hurt then it has to be stopped for his own health. And this is especially the case for big heavyweights who are on the end of very heavy shots.

It was a very good stoppage by the trainer. Prior to that Rogan stood up to two big heavy head shots, he would have carried on if his team hadnt pulled him out, but those body shots were hurting Rogan from the third round onwards.

Rogan wanted out at that point. Not to mention it wasn't even the refs call once his corner step in the ring.

    Fight was over

Would have liked to see another round myself, though Rogie was getting hurt a bit. Fury didn't really impress me tbh, if he really was world class, he'd have won every round. No offence to Rogie, he's a hard ould ****, but he's not exactly sugar Ray Robinson. Fury still has a lot of flaws, and IMO his jaw won't hold up, if/when he goes on to European/world level.

What I want to know is why his trainer got into the ring. You're meant to throw the towel in first, you bell-end. Not try call it off yourself.

Maybe he's got a really weak throw and wanted to make sure it got in.

Presume it was because the ref had his back to him.
