    Here are my thoughts

    Boring as hell
Proved he has formidable stamina (1,111 punches @175?!)
He could have really wanted to put some rounds in the bag, and shake that ring rust
He got great experience in against a guy with a great guard. punch resistance, and who was absolutely terrified (check his post fight comments)
Chin proven as decent at least

    Yours?

Lol at least he's suckered in one. Shame it wasn't Ward

Here's Butter's post after claiming his first belt. Huge respect to the guy who's flown under the radar

    ........

Beterbiev proved he can box and punch! He won by KO but took his time. He has skills. Beterbiev would knock SOB Ward out in a fair fight, so would Bivol, Gassiev and Kovalev. SOB landed blows well below Kovalev's navel/belt, on the letter that was below Kovalev's belt. Kovalev's belt was right below the navel, SOB's illegal punches were on the letter which was clearly below the belt! The video does not lie, not do the still pictures!

If B Hop had done the same thing everybody would be going on about the masterful boxing performance. Be that as it may, it was a fight that had all the excitement of watching an otter crack open an oyster. However, it was a masterful, patient performance on Beterbiev's part. I have the impression he wasn't going at maximum intensity until the last round, just so he could fight in a late round. Once he decided he wanted to keep his KO streak intact, he pushed down on the accelerator pedal and KOed his opponent as always.

It's his first fight I haven't seen since his 4th I think. Can't imagine Beterbiev in a dull fight with his usual style, which is search and destroy usually.
Maybe the North American style is rubbimg off on him.
