He is obviously slowing down physically

so age aside he fought a perfect fight, patiently attacked his shell of a defense, dropped him won every round and won

the cut wasnt horrible but it was only gonna get worse and Vitali was really establishing his control of the fight

Vitali was good enough to beat Charr and he would also have beaten Mayweather and Pacquiao.

Vitali slaughterd an HBO favorite. Old man did his job. This is Vitali's Michael Grant win moment, just to **** with HBO.

You cant really tell much considering the fact his opponent was on the level of lets say Owen Beck.

Then why can't someone, ANYONE, even come at least close to *taking him*, if he's there for the taking?

I have heard this *there for the taking* nonsense for how many fights now?

No offense, but Vitali seems to get skewered repeatedly when he's making history with his dominant performance, one after another. And he's taken on anyone he can get in the ring, from Peter to Arreola, to Gomez.............VK dominates them all. as he did once again against Charr.

    Give credit where its due.

Vitali did what he usually does - stopping opponents. Yes, the aging is a factor but he is still a level above the opposition.

He is possibly bored with the lack of competition, he doesn't look slow, far from it, he just looks disinterested. Wouldn't you if you had consistently defended your title with ease for 8 years?

I wasn't too impressed. Charr stood in front of him, and Vitali still seemed to have trouble landing clean shots. He looked slow and uncoordinated to me. I'd favor him over Haye, but only by 6-5.

Charr seems to be getting a lot of praise, but to me he was way too cautious. He landed okay when he threw, but just didn't throw that much.

But now he's the brand new Odlanier Sollis, "the guy who would've beaten Vitali if he hadn't gotten ****ed up".

You don't spark the unsparkable. :nono

Haye has a slight chance to play keep-a-way & try to outpoint Vitali but I think it's quite a bit slimmer than some of you seem to think. :deal

he's getting old thats the problem. he seemed slower a bit easier to hit and to have less power. its mainly due to him being 41 you can get old overnight. i would reccomend he retire and not fight a top contender at this stage. a prime vitali would smash anyone today besides maybe wlad

David Haye would land on Vitali no doubt and i predict pain. Vitali fought a 15 fight novice, the fight was an absolute disgrace, and Vitali looked slow and clumsy hanging his chin out. His performance was average, he should of K.O'd charr the guy has 15 fight's to his name and was scared to throw a punch. I thought it was a disgrace that this fight was for the heavyweight title it was an embarrassment , the klitchsco have no shame, he needs to fight Haye, his whole legacy is based on beating bums and the loss to Lennox Lewis.
