This Round was given to Holyfield and the judges explain it as a

    'BIG Holyfield Round'

There were 3-4 rounds given to Holyfield that made zero sense.

Lewis won on all cards by 9-3, 10-2, at the worst you can make a case he won 8-4. What really happened in your opinion.

Oscar- Trinidad, I guess made more sense because Oscar ran for the last 3 rounds, but even then it smells of corruption and deception. I think both times Don King was involved, which make this highly suspicious.

What you guys think really happened?

The fact that both fights happened in the same year and at a time when Don King was clearly looking to 'cash out' and ride into the sunset make this highly suspicious.

I think Don King were banking on two massive rematches.

One with Lewis one with Oscar. Obviously the Oscar one did not happen.

to make money off the rematches, just like Arum is now trying to pull off with Pac-Bradley II

    i thought holyfield/lewis was a draw.

oscar gave the fight away by running for the last 3-4 rounds.

the commentary in both instances was HORRIBLE.

OF course not but those were huge events that touched everyone including the judges! How can you keep yourself to yourself when you have the former SFW Champ, the former LW Champ, the WBC WW Champ in front of you and Tito Trinidad that beat'em all including Pernell. One judge goes one way, the second judge goes the same way and the third unexpectedly goes the opposite way and in the end everything is close and unfair... The Holyfield Lewis draw had a lot to do with money and the rematch I believe but judges may have favoured Holyfield for his incredible display of granite chin and going through punches to land that one shot and just foirgot about who was in the other side. That also happens these days with Mayweather. if it is close give it to Floyd. I have no authority to talk about corruption but when mags have belts that are more meaningful than 3 or 4 Commissions which are close to the promotional groups, everything simply happens.

It must have been hard for the US watching there best in holyfield come up noticeably short against a brit with some arrogance to a degree..

Oscar even won the 12th round on 2 judges cards. Of course the fix was in for both Don King fighters.

I think the judges said "wow,Lewis couldn't even KO an old man who struggled with Vaughn Bean,**** him,it's a draw!"

There is no way to justify the Lewis Holyfield decision. Lewis was robbed.

I think Oscar deserved the decision against Tito, but Oscar gave away some rounds there, it made the fight closer on the cards.
