Previous page. The fairly long one towards the bottom on the subject of why I believe Calzaghe hasn't taken the fight.

True Abraham has to fight Marquez in a mandatory. But why haven't they set this up immediately after the Marquez fight?

Instead, Pavlik is chasing after a 37 year old who knows he's on the decline and looking to finish his career.

What's your take on that fight anyway? Who d'you pick to win if it comes of.

I got Calzaghe via a comfortable 116-112 decision if it ever happens. All comes down to adaptability and predictability for me. Calzaghe is far too adaptabe and clever I feel.

he was contacted by HBO about fighting calzaghe in the slot that he eventually faced bika on. he was one of a number of fighters contacted about the fight.

joe never offered the fight personally.

He prefers joe's slappy ***** punches than kelly's monster raw power. The moment he said pav doe'snt have one punch power made my eyebrow go up like this: :blood

But Calzaghe's the odd one out isn't he...

That aside, its a worthless post because nobody even rates JCC Jr. If they do its a very very small minority of people.

    Valero has fought absolutely nobody.

Clearly Calzaghe does not belong in this company, even if you think he's overrated.

Honestly I like Palvik in a close fight. I just feel his work rate will be too much Joe at his age. Now, Tommy I think you know Pavlik has a underrated body attack and I feel he will use this to his advantage in the fight. Joe is a head hunter like Pavlik but Pavlik goes to the body more often. Now I know Joe has the faster hands but I think Kellys jab will be able to keep him honest at a distance along with his right hand and left hook. Thats my take. :good
