What? there is something else to look for???

 

*Sigh* No, because the cards have to be able to show how tally for that round has been arrived at. The cards also have to be able to match the tallysheet for auditing purposes

 

Don't give up your day job and you might want to re-think your constant criticism of judges....

 

Why then some tally sheets have a sub total & total? Do cards match sub or total??

 

But I thought you knew everything about boxing... Mate, Tally sheets have a score for the round and a running total to make concluding scores more efficient and to help eliminate mistakes along the way. Cards Have a Gross point box, point deduction box and net point box so -

-1
9 9

The scores on each card are going to have to accurately reflect the scores per round on the tally sheet, hence the reason judges are told to deduct the point...

 

If judges deduct a point, why also does the recorder?

 

Oh FFS! Lay off the Fruity Lexia! What did I say before? The judges cards have to acurately reflect the tally sheet (or more accurately, the other way round). Anyone who wasn't even at the fight should be able to look at both sets and see what happened why. The judges are telling the recorder what to record....

I sighted tally sheet where round scores were 10/8,10/8, 10/9 due to point deduction. Same point was again deducted after sub total.
Didn't make a song & dance out of it, as the bloke was way behind anyway

 

What has someone's mistake got to do with what I wrote? Also shouldn't you have pointed it out?
