Nothing! Now that we all know AA postponed the fight due to the flu and was unable to fight which is understood who wants to fight sick right? Well in JC jrs last fight he was quoted stating he was sick, that it was very hot in mexico that night and they left the AC on overnight. JC jr decided to go in the ring anyways not because he had to but because he didnt was people to think he was a wuss like everyone is saying about AA.

Or rather he used it as an excuse for his dire performance against a crappy opponent, whereas Abraham had a world title on the line against a very credible opponent.

You can't fight with flu, it's as simple as that. It's not like the fights not going to happen, they will probably re-schedule for next month.

abraham fought with a broken jaw for 7 rounds and then rematched that same dude later on...im sure he is legitimately sick and didnt want to jeopardize his future by loosing a fight now. Too many possible big fight for him in the future to loose now. Jermain Taylor, Hopkins, Pavlik....he cant affford to loose now because of a bad decision

You can't blame him, if he lost because he was sick and used that excuse, everyone would say he was just making excuses. People get the flu, what's he supposed to do? It's kind of sad that his people feel they have to show those pathetic pictures to pacify the doubters, but there is no reason to doubt their claims.

I agree im not trying to hype JC or make AA look bad. Im just saying that maybe Jr will beat Vanda in a rematch and maybe he did fight crappy because of the Flu and if he did I have respect for the guy just for going inside the ring. Its unfortunate that AA did get the FLu but it does happen.

The difference is also that Abraham is bashed 10 times more than JC Jr. for him to cancel the fight whereas JC Jr. had a bad outing that night.

And I can say it over and over again: It wasn't AA's decision but the one of his promoter and advisors...

This is probably one of the worst situations a boxer could be in especially in AA situation because not only is a world champ but he has a whole country behind him. I think boxing fans should be more understanding and support their champ.

It's not that the fans here in my country just blindly cheer him but also suspect what really is the truth behind the cancellation. But we are a lot more composed and discuss the situation on a more grounded basis. We also know that not Abraham has cancelled the fight but his team.
But you know, We Germans love to stick to the rules and so everything seems ok with the IBF and the fight will be on again for November 8.

Would Chavez fight 8 rounds with a broken jaw?

If anyone has ever had the flu, you know he can't fight. Anyway, chavez lost. Vanda was robbed.
