Leaving the air conditioning on overnight does not give you the flu. Hope that helps.

Look, lets say AA wasn't sick, can you blame him if he thought he couldn't rehydrate, and hid this behind not feeling ready to fight? He made weight and felt something was wrong. This is Raul Marquez he is fighting, not Kelly Pavlik. I want to see guys at their best, and if he felt something was wrong, and hid his truth behind this so-called lie, I don't mind. It is disappointing to see fights cancelled, but critics(Norris fans) even called Simon Brown a coward for cancelling his fight with Norris, and he ko'd Terry Norris in their first fight.

This is the difference between AA and a guy like Calzaghe.

AA has earned his stripes by fighting Miranda with a broken jaw for 7 rounds and then showing he wasn't scared by fighting him again, not 5 years later, but now, out of his comfort zone of Germany.

I think AA is legitimately sick, and at least they're having the fight in 4 weeks time, but I really feel sorry for the fans who planned their Saturday around traveling to the stadium and now have to pay extra money for a second trip.

If there were any way to take some money out of his share of the purse and distribute it among the fans as a token of appreciation, that would be a classy gesture on his promoter's part.

Chavez had the judges in his pocket and you are praising him? Even his hometown fans threw **** at him. Get real. If anything Chavez should not have fought and should have postponed instead of putting in a crappy performance, paying off the judges, and then using the "I'm sick and it was hot" excuse. Now he is stuck rematching Vanda ANYWAYS, and he got pelted by his fans..

Instead of rematching 4 months later, he could have postponed the fight a couple of weeks and done things right the first time, in a legit fashion.
