should of been McClellan KO 1.

but as a non-uk fan i know him for being a hard hitter who fought with his heart.
i picture him right below the upper echelon

Had Collins fought the 90-94 version of Benn, he would have been creamed...
He was lucky to get to both Eubank and Benn when both were done...

They surely remember the Watson, Barkley and McClellan fights, maybe the DeWitt fight and hard to forget the Gent fight if seen. And they surely heard of the story of what went down in his fight with Anthony Logan.

Great see-saw wars. The Eubank ones for Brits were humungous.

He also knocked out Robbie Sims for the first time in his career in his most underrated win, five months after the devastating Eubank defeat.

Probably the most exciting fighter ever.

An unbeaten Eubank with two first round knock out wins to his name between Collins fights?

Don't give me this 'too many wars' excuse either, Hardly like Collins stayed war free through-out his career.

As for Benn, One of my fav fighters, he always seemed willing to take on all comers, traveling into the lions den when needed.

collins was hardly in his prime

i love the way the brits always make this excuse about them fights

the thing is collins was coming to the end of a long hard carear aswel

collins in his prime would have done the same imo

yeah but who was Collins fighting before he got the chance to fight a faded Eubank and Benn? Nobodies thats who, so any wars were with lower tier fighters, probably the same group Collins belongs in. He ran from Calzaghe, he caught Eubank and Benn on thier way out. He was fighting a guy with over 20 losses a couple of fights before Eubank. Where were these great fights/fighters before Eubank/Benn?

so mccallum , reggie johnson and kalambay were all nobodies were they ??

why would collins duck an up and coming fighter like calzaghe who hadnt even made a name for himself when he clearly had nothing to lose in fighting calzaghe .

plus he was chasing a fight with rjj at the time so i would find it hard to imagine he would duck calzaghe and go chasing rjj .

give over with your bull**** and look at the facts !

yeah and didnt he lose to Johnson, Kamabalay and MaCallum? Thats right, he did....because he was lower tier than these fighters! He caught Eubank and Benn at a good time!

Yeah he chased RJJ, but he never fought him, so we will never know! Id fight RJJ tonight, in my front room for £1000! (yes I would get KTFO) So im sure a huge pay day win lose or draw would have been on Collins radar too!
