he may have lost them yes , but all in there own backyard he may have been a teir below them but the fighters mentioned are not benn and eubank and i belive collins would have beaten them in there prime and his prime
collins was a beast, plain and simple. i agree that eubank and benn were past prime but styles make fights and i'd say collins is even money against either at their best. i'd favour pre-watson eubank but not by much
As soon as I watched Benn v Eubank 1 in 1990 with my Dad that was me obsessed with boxing. For me Benn is one of the greatest British fighters of all time.
^^^^^^^^^^says the englishman lol stop talking shite if benn or eubank were as good as the brits make out they would of least outpointed the crude tough collins but they couldnt even manage that because they were in fact just not good enough to beat the man, they had enough chances........
Oh **** off mate! Collins beat a washed up Benn and there's no getting around it! Eubank still had a little left in the tank so thats not a bad victory for Collins.
Benn was completely and utterly shot by the time Collins beat him. That is BEYOND dispute! Eubank was faded but still world class so thats a good win for Collins. I liked him as a fighter and he had some decent wins over the likes of Tony Thornton and Kevin 'Killer' Watts so pride in his achievements is all well and good but your letting nationalistic bias cloud your judgement.
You are also letting your nationalistic bias cloud your judgement also and totally disrespecting collins as fighter as do all british...... how could you possibly know how benn would do against collins prime for prime? to totally dismiss collins against benn prime for prime shows me that your opinion is nationalistic bias at its best........
Loved t owatch him.One of my faves,my favorite British fighter ever probably. Always a good fight with him.In and out of the ring. Eubank I and McClellan are truly great fights but he has multiple good ones outside those. Truly a legend.Hope he makes it into the HOF.
