What I mean is, from where comes the money in detail.

I was checking the list 100 highest paid athletes and Floyd is #1 and Wlad was something around #25. Floyd made 40 million for the Ortiz and 45 m. vs Cotto. Wlad made 23 million just fighting in stadiums in germany.

What I was than curious to know, because previous I thought most of the money high profile Boxer were making was ppv. since Wlad doesnt make ppv money, how did it come he made so much fighting litle known opponents (except Haye ).

Okay, he's well known in germany and staduim can sit like 20.000 people and more. but maybe some of you know a bit about the boxing business and can tell me of what boxing bouts financielly. thanks.

The fights are broadcasted in loads of countries, Klitchskos get paid for that.

Stadiums hold like 50,000 so more money there.

Wlad made that money betting on himself (a huge underdog) vs Mormeck.

It includes his fight with Haye, which was on ppv in the UK.

Also I'm not sure of the attendance for the fight as it wasn't a sell out but I'd guess around 38,000 were there, our seats were poor and we still paid 118 euros for them iirc.

    EDIT - 130 euros.

what do you think, floyd sure as hell can fill a basketball arena, also a nfl stadium, if wlad makes lets say 12 million per fight in germany, without ppv, only by broadcasting in other countries (therefore commercial money) and stadium ticket money, what would he do in US.?

He's not a big draw in the states so he would make a lot less money.

Wlad wouldn't draw flies to **** in the US

In parts of Europe it's a different matter

Europe does not have a set up like the US, it is very hard to compare.

But Floyd could sell out Wembley stadium in England easily

How much money he'd make from the TV companies is questionable

    But Wladimir does not have

    1. A fan friendly style

    2. Charisma that creates interest in his fights

    3. Any real marketable selling point

If he was fighting out of the US on PPV he wouldn't be a major pull

i dont know if you wanted to answer my question?

if you wanted, than it did not help, because I asked what floyd would do in the us, in stadiums there, not in eu.

Alot of american fans seem to think that only american ppv is the revenue that these events earn. its not, they take millions in tickets, sponserships, site fee's, international tv/ppv ect
