What do Pac and Oscar have to gain by fighting each other, other than money?

true a $20 million purse plus PPV shares, even if someone smaller like calderon was offered that much he'd take this fight in a blink regardless of the bad sides. Something like this only goes to show that money is everything in this world:yep .

I seriously believe if calderon again for example would be offered $100+ million dollars to fight klitscho he'd take it.

So on one side we have Pharoah who thinks this fight shouldnt be made because Oscar is completely utterly shot and on another we have you who thinks this shouldnt be made because there will be murder in the ring.

Boxing needs a new poster boy, Pac would be perfect for it. What Bruce Lee did for Martial Arts, Pac could do for boxing ;) OK maybe im exagerating, but I think its about time HBO promotes fighters that actually excites fans when he fights. Naz helped bring boxing back to britain cos of his excitement, should Pac become a household name in US, he could very well do the same.

I think it is a stupid fight, Pac hasn't even beaten the top players in Lightweight, nor Hatton, and now he is supposedly fighting DLH?

I can understand it from DLH's side but i don't like the idea of an honest guy like Manny Pac very likely getting an L on his record just for money and marketing.

I want DLH - Cotto assuming Cotto wins this weekend. Pac should try and clean out 135, then take on Hatton, this would do so much for his legacy.

no i never said it would be murder thats exaggeration:huh i am just worried for pac just like other pacfans..

Do you think pac would be the same after DLH? He's looking good now at 135 why such move..DLH would be retiring, hatton, calzaghe also have plans on retiring. Mayweather is also retired. And pac is a bigger name than cotto. So even if he doesn't fight DLH, he is the new poster boy of boxing.

He's in good shape at 135 and looking good, he should stay there..

If he fights at 154, there would be no need for him to make weight..cutting weight is better than gaining. I also look for his health and for the longetivity of his career. I want to see more of pac, and if he takes on the safe route he'll still have more fights to come
