I can't pick between Soto and Guzman....

but whoever wins better face the winner of Marquez vs Pacquiao...

and whoever wins that has to give Valero a shot. Only then the cloud will settle in this division full of talent.

I am actually happy that Soto and Guzman are going to fight each other, instead of just fighting a no-hoper then join the long list of guys who are desperate to get a shot at Pac

At least they are doing their share of division-cleansing chores.

Dmngo, I hope you are kidding. Guzman fought Jauregui, Barrios (+Davis as a tune up-not bad) and now Soto. These are solid guys he faced / facing. He also offered to fight JMM.

As much as this kid is a big threat to my boy Pac, I can not deny giving him props.

Guzman and Soto are both Top 7 or better in the division, or am I wrong? This is a big fight! No?:huh Doesn't it deserve a bit of hype and thorough analysis? The winner might get a shot at Pacman or Jmm...

I think Soto will win this fight...by UD or late TKO.
I was right when i predicted Cotto will win against Mosley...
hopefully I'm also right in this fight (Soto Vs Guzman)
I pick Soto to win because he's hungry and he's the younger fighter.
He got power @ this weight, unlike Guzman, he left his power @ 122.
Soto has been waiting for this opportunity...to win a belt @ 130 division.

I have not seen enough fight vids of these 2 guys to make an opinion. I voted a draw just for now.

I've seen HL vids of Guzman, but that can be deceiving.

I've seen only 1 Soto fight, when he KO'd Bobby Pac. Not enough for me to make a clear choice.

I agree that we should look at it from Soto's point of view...a hungry, young fighter looking to make a name for himself against a very talented opponent. Whilst he is still young, Soto must know that if he loses this one, it's back to fights against lesser fighters for peanuts for a long, long time...He will know that he CAN exploit Guzman's self-inflicted mental approach-led style issues...and if he is very intelligent, and Guzman - emotional as ever, Soto, wilst being less talented, might sneak this one...

...but the fight is really Guzman#s to throw away...I think.

i think jmm matches weel with guzman and pac matches very well with soto. either way, jmm and pac should be happy these two will face off, it just means that they have 1 less challenger to think about
