    And what will he get out of it if he were to beat Pac?

    I mean Oscar's pushing 5'11,hasn't fought under 154 in 7 years,he has a 73" reach. Challenging a guy who has never fought above 130,turned pro aT 106 who's 5'6 with a reach of 67".

    I just don'e see what Oscar could be thinking of.I like Oscar but I don't agree with this,There is some guys his own size he can fight.

    He's trying to get a win over a big named opponent. First he tried to do so by going up in weight and got knocked the **** out. Then he went back down in weight and fought a blown up WW. He won, but he knew Mayorga is very overrated. He then made a WW who started out a SFW come up and weight and got his ass beat. Now I guess he needs to go even smaller to get a win over a big named opponent. Maybe he'll fight Calderon if he loses to Pac.

    It's a circus event. I don't approve. If he wants an action-fight, let him go fight Cotto.

    I do not believe DLH actually wants to fight Pac. Arum is just talking **** as usual.

    I think that he can't possibly be serious but if he is, everyone involved in boxing should boycott the fight

    If Floyd, who is smaller than De La Hoya, began trying to get Pacquaio in the ring, people would be up in arms over it. Yet with De La Hoya, it is, "Oh, I'd prefer if he fought Cotto."

    See if you can find one genuine quote from Oscar, giving such a fight consideration.

    Everything published about Oscar is treated as fact by some of the more gullible on here.

    I don't he's made an official statement about it. But I did find this quote;

    "We’ll see, we’ll see," Arum told the Bulletin. "I was told that Oscar wants to fight Manny in his last fight. That’s what I have been told by (Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard) Schaefer."

    Arum might just be full of ****, but who knows.

    Big fight = big money, plain and simple.

    I do agree however that Oscar's tactics are a bit annoying. Calzaghe can also be considered a big fight, why not the bigger man instead of the smaller man yet again?

    Calzaghe is too big and Pac is too little.

    If he's to fight at all, which isn't certain, he should fight between 147 and 160.

    That leaves Cotto, Winky, even Pavlik.

    All very difficult affairs for the golden boy.
