He'll have to fight his mandatory at some point so it'll have to be Murray, right?

 

I could see HBO making a big offer for Martin Murray. Hot off the HBO televised Sergio controversy and keeps the British MW's on air, as they have deserved to be.

 

Unlikely to be Quillin, obviously, and no Maravilla this year.

Jnr's gonna fight in early August (too soon for GGG anyway, I would think) probably against Brian Vera. -165 catchweight's been mentioned.
I suppose an end of year fight could be made, but I don't think Jnrs handlers will put him in to beaten up by Gennady.

The Geale Barker winner makes sense, but isn't 'til Aug 17th so I suppose an Oct/Nov fight could be made, but I don't see either wanting to put their belt on the line if they don't have to.

Murray would be one I'd like to see, if fact I think Murray would give a better fight than Mack against Golovkin.

It might come down to how convincingly Golo takes care of Macklin. If he doesn't look as good as expected, they might want to find a second tier guy for a showcase soon, then look for a bigger name at the end of the year.

Well the way to get a fight with the champ is to beat up his left overs, right? So it should be Murray or Chavez. But Murray can't get a visa to the US. And it won't be Chavez. I think it will be a stay busy fight and then Geale/Barker. I am hoping for Geale but I have a feeling Barker might win that one.

 

As previously mentioned the Martin Murray fight sounds great or Sergio Martinez when/if he comes back from injury.

 

Martin Murray would be a great shout, but the fact he can't fight in the USA will mean he's probably always gonna miss out on the big fights in America

 

That or unification with Barker. (or Martinez)

Skip the WBO for now, and give Kid Chocolate a bit longer to build up a name and drum up interest for when they are the last men standing.
