He's come on on alot. They look like they have developed the power a bit and his hands are fairly quick. There is no doubt in my mind he lives the life as well.

But technically I can't see much there at all. Falls over himself, very hooky, chin stuck up on the air, I still don't think his power will carry to even fringe world class level it's just that he loads up on every shot. He also looks small at welter, I always thought he looked more like a 140 fighter.

I just don't know where this run ends because I am conviced when they move him up in levels he's really going to struggle.

Conor Benn is one of the few UK stars Eddie Hearn has in his stable so he will continue to protect him and take it easy.

This pretty much sums him up for me too.
His defence is poor but he is quite dynamic.
He was squaring up terribly last night which tells me he's not great with southpaws.
Hearn was telling us all last night that Benn is elite level which also tells me Hearn is desperate and turning somewhat into a caricature.

Inproved immensely the past few years in which people wrote Benn to domestic level at best and now now look him.

Jab, head movement and foot work have clearly dramatically improve and credit to Benn. Has power to hurt qorld level guys.

That said, even with the obvious improvement I would favour all Bud, Ortiz, Ennis Spence, D.Garcia, Thurman, Stanionis, Butaev, Kavaliauskas Ugas against Benn.

The strongest opposition at present that I would favour Benn to beat is Hooker, Crowley, Broner, Avanesyan and Brook.

The word 'star' is usually used when one has achieved great things.

Chisora and Benn types are simply gross misuse of the word by Earn.

I know. It was just to be kind to Eddie Hearn / Matchroom :)

According to them, Conor Benn is "a global super star". To be fair, Conor Benn is probably the biggest name after AJ at Matchroom Boxing UK right now. It shows how thin their boxing stable is.

According to the commentary team on DAZN UK, Soup Hatton is improving by the fight.

Benn is simply looking better against zero threats while I simply see tears for young Hatton against any live fighter.

If Oskari Metz vs Van Hearden fought who would you back to win?

He needs to step up a level for himself now. He’s clearly way too good for Algieri, Granados and Van Heerden level. But that’s nothing to be proud of because all 3 of them offered little to no threat.

But I do like to watch him and he carries power to trouble anybody at the weight. He’s game, his dad just loved punching people in the face and he’s clearly got the same thing in him. He’s got a chip on his shoulder about people questioning him that’s driving him on and I’m probably the only one on this forum who doesn’t mind him bigging himself up.

Someone like Crawford or Spence might be a step too far and it’s unlikely that he gets a shot at them next anyway but a Garcia or Ennis would be a cracking fight.

The likelihood though is that it’s Brook and he wipes him out inside 3 which is just going to further sour most peoples mouths on him.
