There is nothing stopping Warren making an offer to Benn to fight Avanesyan. They just need to pay him more than he got paid for Saturdays fight. The issue however is Avanesyan would then be the one who would have to agree to taking a large slice lower than Benn.
Doesn't help his credibility when he calls out Khan who my nan could tell is shot to pieces and has been for years.
By Joshua's 21st fight he'd fought Whyte, Martin, Breazeale, Wlad, Takam and Parker all ranked top 15.
What's your point? Mark de Mori was ranked in the top 15 with a governing body just a month or so ago. All bar Klitschko (who was old and hadn't boxed in a year and a half, after losing to Fury) on that list are fairly rubbish. Some are really rubbish.
Parker isn’t rubbish. If Joe Joyce beats Parker, people will talk about a great victory for Joyce. Whyte isn’t bad either. The rest aren’t great though, even someone like Takam, not a victory that will be remembered for sure.
Difference being AJ proved himself for the number 1 ranking by beating quality opposition in Wlad, Parker, Povetkin, Whyte etc whilst the other in Wilder hadn't beaten anyone notable was ranked 2 (when there were guys with far better records).
Well that’s the weakness of the division but he was quite clearly no lower than no 3. You can say the division is weak fine but not that he wasnt no 3
There are numerous others with far better records in the divison eg. Povetkin, Whyte, Parker, Pulev etc. Whilst Wilder cherry picked low level opponents and turned down offers to fight the best in the divison. So yes considering many others in the dvison had better records you can say Wilder wasnt top 3 as he didn't have record to support this.
Pulev?Parker?C’mon now. I agree Povetkin had a solid resume but post 2015 when Wilder was ranked he didnt look as dominant in hos fights and also had a PED violation that cancelled a bout with….Wilder in Moscow. You can see the argument. Whyte is a solid case However certainly not after 2019 when he looked terrible vs Wach and Wilder took Ortiz out again. So yes you can clearly make an argument he was top 3 and was rated as such by the top rankings in The Ring and TRBB rankings. In fact going into Fury 2 he was no 2.
Whyte best wins Povetkin, Parker, Chisors x 2 and Rivas. Parker best wins Ruiz, Chisora x 2 and Takam. Pulev Chisora and Hughie. Wilder Ortiz x 2, Duhaupas and Szpilka. It's clear to see Wilder has the weakest record.
It s nothing clear, its revisionist bias history on your part(lol at mentioning Chisora twice for Parker when this just happened when Wilder obviously isnt in the discussion for top 3 anymore). Again, context is key ehich is why my post explains this perfectly and ehy he was rated top 3.
