Just watched a bit on YouTube - not much there and the stuff that is there, appears to show him against overmatched opponents. Maybe that tells us all we need to know - he is unproven and Froch is hard as nails. He seems slick and quick, but not as slick as Taylor. Perhaps most significantly, he has never been beyond ten rounds - and not necessarily because he is a devastating puncher. There are 10 round decisions etc. He has never been in a war and Froch loves a tear up - what's more, Froch is good at causing a tear up. My basic point is, looking at the limited evidence I have, is that Dirrell is undoubtedly more skilled than Froch (few aren't!) but may be too green for him. In short, I back Froch to lose the early rounds before grinding Dirrell down, roughing him up and knocking him out. This is based on a shortage of evidence - anyone know Dirrell in more detail to prove me wrong? P.S. Great interviews with the "Super Six" - enjoy! http://www.ringtv.com/video/super_middleweight_oneonones/
I agree. First 15 seconds against Hamshaw he backs himself into corner and gets caught with hook counter and then gets knocked over. He takes unessacary risks. I feel Froch will catch him as Froch gets to most opponents and is willing to take one to give one and i feel as the fight wears on he will catch Dirrell as he moves on outside and slip jab throw a jab and right hand as Dirrell rides up and land flush and have him in trouble like Taylor then we will see what Dirrells made of. Thanks for Interviews btw.:bbb
