What do Wilder's fans think if he does indeed face Wach next?

Iron-chinned Mariusz Wach is the hot-favourite to be Deontay Wilder's next opponent, and if the rumours are true the fight is close to being announced.

My question is what do Wilder's fans think about this fight and can they comment on Wilder's choices of recent opponents?

    Thoughts?

Well it he would at least be a semi-decent threat to Wilder because he is tuff...

But when is Wilder actually gunna step it up and a bit and face a fighter who might make it 50/50

Not thrilled but I'd still watch.

I still don't see how its possible. Stiverne is his mandatory and I don't see him vacating because he needs it to unify. Would make no sense. Stiverne seems hell bent on the rematch.

If the rumor is for the fight after I don't see that either. He is going want a bigger fight then that I'd imagine.

It's a mystery in itself how Stiverne is back in the mandatory position

Ridiculous. Should have fought Ortiz for the mandatory.

Wach is better than most of the other bums and stiffs Wilder has faced. Don't know how much he's got left in the tank at this point, but I'd say he's better than Washington and Stiverne.

OTOH, I thought Wilder didn't fight guys on drugs ;) I guess big slow guys are OK, but savae combination punchers *cough*povetkin*cough* are not ...

Wilder has no interest in fighting anyone who is a top 10 fighter. We are way past the excuses point. The guy has been a Pro for almost 10 years and 38 fights and has fought only one top 10 opponent. That is embarrassing.

Wach is a tough tough man, but not much else. Wach would have been a good 1st defence of his title, not his 5th or 6th.

I would be pissed because Wach has tested positive and Wilder used the excuse of positive test to dodge Ortiz if memory is right

I stated this on another thread. Wilder does need better names soon. But he has been a bit misfortunate. Povetkin would have given him a 2nd gold medalist scalp. That fight fell through. I believe him and Fury were setting up that fight after Povetkin. He fell off the deep end. Then Wilder got seriously hurt in his quick turn around fight.

Backed him up almost a full two years. I think the Washington fight was a decent first test after a serious injury. Now the WBC screwed him with sticking him with Stiverne again. Blame Wilder sure. But some of it has been unlucky. Should see an uptick soon. Joshua is inevitable.

Wilder can fight these guys every few months. He don't need a year to fight two bums like Wlad did.

He'll dispatch Wacks next , then retire Stierne followed by taking Parkers belt before the years out. Thats if Hughie don't snatch it first.
