What do y'all think of DeGale's comments on Haye?

The comments about George Groves annoyed me the most.....

Saying he is already making a living off him. Note, James - Degale is making a living, having had his first fight. What have you done as a pro?

Haye promotes Groves, so there is probably a bit of needle there.

 

warrens clearly doesnt see it as an issue as he put the comments on his web site.

i think tis been taken out of context, hes clearly messing around and said it with toungue in cheek. come on guys where your british sense of humour.

name a world class fighter in the last 10 years not arrogant or very very confident. Jones Jnr, Mayweather, Calzaghe, Hatton, Lewis, Haye. The story made the news right??? did you see vinny mitchells comments about hows hes been watching videos of manny pac and marquez and hows hes been working hard in the gym make headlines, no, but if he said he would beat the crap out of appleby and is better looking than prescott, and will be a world champ quicker than his brother we would be taling about it.

i didnt see anyone slagging of tony bellew when he declared after a fight agiasnt a journeyman "im already the best light heavyweight in the country". if he has won a gold medal people might think differantley.

 

I just hope he puts his money where his mouth his and fights the right guys. Who knows hopefully we may see Groves vs DeGale happen 10 fights down the line.

Haye has said alot of silly **** recently so don't all act like this is out of the blue and no one cares if Groves has said anything daft towards DeGale, this could just be response.

 

DeGale considers himself the prettiest boy in the playground

He thinks that all the girls fancy him

He thinks he can pull all the smart or even "stunning and unapproachable" girls

But this is shallow

Haye is good looking............got loads of *****.............and wan WBC / WBA / WBO / European Titles

Plus Haye is bigger and stronger and punches harder and would kill Degale in a fight

Final Verdict..............the girls will be more impressed with Haye

 

watch interviews with degale before the olympics and during, the guy was cocky and arrogant then to, thats just him, thats what allot of 22 year old londoners are like, im 22 and from london, im very cocky and think allot oof myself, its not a crime.

khan, harrison were quite humble and let the success get to there head, degale, hammed and haye were always cocky and arrogant.

Its actually good to have a confidence about you

And I would much rather be a posing pretty boy who values superfical things like Rolex Watches and partys in IBIZA every year because it is the thing to do

I would rather be a posing type........than a low self esteem loser

However you gotta realise.............alot of people are going to resent you for it

I didnt like his comments about groves but using the term "silly sod" just makes me chuckle and i probably think more of him now lol.

In all fairness I like some fighters to be a bit cocky (everyone cant all be the peoples fighter like ricky), he just needs to back it up (which i'm unsure he will do).

I also think a lot of it is Warren, I thought Kell Brook came across as cocky but apparently he's a decent lad when u meet him, I wouldnt be surprised if Warren encourages this sort of behaviour as controversy causes publicity etc

 

Not much. Good on him I say. Could make for some funny trash talking moments if he's talking like this about guys that have squat to do with him.

Did anyone see him on C4's 'Big Fat Quiz Of The Year', when Jimmy Carr was like 'and your a boxer' and he was like 'yeah I won the boxing gold' about 4 times with a smug look on his face.

i went from a normal guy in london, when i moved to derby for uni all the northen lads thought i was a proper pretty boy cos i cared about how my hair looks. if i told a joke about how good i looked to my mates in london they would find it funny but the lads i no from up north would think im being a twat and tell me
