Lampley talks a lot of **** and over glorifies fighters for making basic boxing moves and he calls fights that are just good fights super fights and all that dumb ****. He overexagerates to the extreme. Max on the other hand is cool most of the time but lately hes been acting like a young Larry Merchant in that blood and guts and knockouts is the only way to show that youer a good fighter and ready to move up. He needs to back off that bull****.:bbb:bbb:bbb
I cringe at the overintellectual white boy stupidity that comes out of his mouth every time he speaks. He's the Bob Costas of boxing. Larry's poems get a little crazy, but at least Larry's a man. I'll take him anytime over Kellerman.
fighters should be interviewed by former fighters after a fight, they know the rush and emmotion that comes after a fight instead of havin people like kellerman who while a great tv pundit doesnt cut it for me in post fight interviews IMO
Kellerman just ai'nt got the required inquisitor skills, he reminds me of a young Al Bernstein who was another **** that just wanted to hear his own voice & Lampley's another **** that can't keep his ****in yap shut during a fight. Larry Merchant can see through all the hype & bull****, but the one problem with larry is that if he don't like you then it's barely concealed when he interviews you.
The man knows boxing. Something about his voice feels like fingernails on chalkboard to me, but that's not his fault.
This content is protected I like Max tho, he'll be the first one to let you know if it was a shitty fight and its not afraid to yell robbery.
What do I think of Kellerman? He's the worst commentator on a major boxing program in the 35 years I've been following this sport. Utterly unqualified. Alone among boxing commentators he never worked as a journalist or participant in the sport before being handed the ESPN job due to family connections. And it shows.
