I know, it's so unscientific! It's like I'm living in the dark ages. My new diet will be something like this:

    8AM - Pro-Carbs (TM) with a Pro-Milk-Protein-Extract (TM) bar.
    11AM - Pro-Snack (TM) with Gatorade.
    2PM - Pro-Chicken-Protein-Extract (TM) with Pro-Carbs (TM).
    5PM - Pro-Snack (TM) with extra HFCS.
    8PM - Pro-Recovery-Meat-Extract (TM).

In between meals I'll be taking whey protein shakes and creatine.

One thing I wonder... if normal, natural food does not contain the "electrolytes", minerals and vitamins (*) I sweat out, how the **** am I sweating them out in the first place? Where do they come from?

    *) insanely small amounts!

Look at Gatorade on Wikipedia. It shows some of its history. At first it contained only a few things that they thought needed to be refilled after workout. Later they added numerous things that they discovered were needed as well. I bet in the future they will find that they need to add fibers for better efficiency. And a greater number of vitamins. They will also find that they need to balance the amount of sucrose to the amount of fructose. And that the ratio water / solid content should be 75/25. At the end a "gatorade" will look like this:

It reminds me of omega 3 / 6 / 9 fatty acids. Studies show that they're better absorbed when accompanied by some proteins. Gee what a surprise.

When did they discover that gatorade needed to be bright blue, or red....or orange...

Oh, and I also tend not to drink water in the middle of workouts. My body kind of rejects it, like I want to puke it up. Played hockey growing up and I never drank water during a game for the same reason. After a workout I'll gulp water down like there's no tomorrow, though.

I feel like starting an Oldschool Food/Training Express in the training section but it would feel really "Loungy".
