I can see a few different sceanarios playing out. He has a few defenses, gets Ko'd, gets another belt another few defenses and another KO loss.

Or I can see Roach improving his chin and punching power dramatically and Khan becoming quite good. The thing about Khan unlike Wlad Klitschko and Lennox Lewis is that he doesnt have the same punching power as them, therefore his power wont bail him out. And with Khan's chin that is a big hinderance to have. But time will tell.

There are signs 140 is a more natural weight for Khan, I think he was weight drained at 135 for being a big 5'10 guy.

Note if his chin has improved at this weight then he can go far, even right to the top.

Khan will need to be managed carefully throughout his entire career to get anywhere near P4P lists. If you take away Khan's speed you are left with a chinny fighter with average skill, there is nothing special about any other aspect of his game...

    What are these signs?

forgive me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure khan said that making 135 wasn't a problem for him.

Roach will know who he's capable of beating and who he isn't, that way he will get a decent run going but when he has to step up as someone said he will get exposed.

As a Khan fan i have to say this. I have faith in the guy, and i do think he'll add another world title to his resume. I do however think he will not become a P4P #1 fighter. Keep in mind that Gamboa and Valero, and many other fighters are emerging as well. He will certainly enter the P4P list, thats a high possibility, but being number 1? that right their is quite a claim which im not too sure about.
