Expect an interesting fight. Even if Clottey comes out with a bit more urgency then he did against Cotto, and remember aside from the flash KD he was beating Cotto from pillar to post early in the fight, Clottey is still a defense first counter-puncher and Pacquiao will have loads and loads of problems with him because when he's offensive he's WIDE.
That could happen. However Clottey is the type of fighter that makes you look bad. Therefore I expect this fight to be close but clear in favour of Pacquiao. (Even if Clottey appears to have won the fight, the judges will never give it to him as Pac-Mayweather has to happen) I think Clottey will do well in the first half of the fight, but Pac will edge almost all of the last 6 rounds
I've never been high on Clottey. I give him credit for his durability and punch resisitence, but I just see this as an easy fight for Pacquiao. He will hit Clottey then get out, and this will be repeated all night.
him standing flat footed with a low punch output then claiming he was robbed after the fight. In other words the usual.
I think he will finally go balls to the wall. He has seen what happens when he takes it easy and he gets close loses. THis is the opportunity of a lifetime for him and could be huge if he wins. I think he will give us the best performance he ever has. I dont know if that will be enough for a roided up Pac though....
Some serious headbutting. I'm wondering what kind of penalties Roach is going to want to prevent this from happening.
I expect to see the same old Clottey who will do good in three to four rounds. Then he will proceed to follow Pac around with his high guard defense refusing to throw punches. Which leads him to making that same dumbfounded look when he doesn't get the decision. The only way he can win is if he wins three out of the first four rounds, then headbutts Pac forming a cut which stops the fight giving him a Technical Decision.:bbb
