Well, in Nevada you were allowed a testosterone ratio of 6:1 ( I think it's 4:1 now). The average person has a ratio of 1:1. So you could have 6 times the testosterone of a normal person and still be clear to fight. You're also only required to do a post fight test, so you could be abusing the hell out of it during camp, reap all the benefits and then just taper down to make sure you're below 6:1 on fight night.

In Sonnen's case he was having testosterone replacement therapy (same as Peterson) but he was given a therapuetic use exemption for it. He was proven to have low testosterone levels (rare in healthy adults, not so rare in adults who have previously abused steroids)

Adamek is suspect. He put a lot of muscle on very very quickly.

Well if I were to pick one heavyweight as a clear example of steroid abuse I certainly wouldn't have chosen this one.

Something Ruben Tabares said struck me. He claimed that before the Peterson fight he looked at Peterson and thought he looked suspect. Something about the way the body retains water when you're juicing, and how you can tell I just tuned in to hear the back end of it tho, so I missed it.

Mosley - De La Hoya 2.
Mosley was on BALCO's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bay_Area_Laboratory_Co-operative) cocktail of PEDS that helped achieve dozens of Gold Medals and World Records at the 2000 Olympic games. He was taking 'the cream and the clear' a combination of the anabolic steroid THG and EPO, which increases the amount of oxygen carrying blood cells to the muscles providing enhanced stamina and endurance.

    Khan - Peterson
Peterson was having testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Synthetic testosterone releasing pellets were placed in his buttocks, increasing the amount of the hormone in his body. His failed test showed nearly four times the testosterone of the average man. TRT is believed to be a very popular method of doping in combat sports right now.

    Roy Jones - Richard Hall
Both Roy Jones AND Richard Hall tested positive for steroids after this fight.

ulio Cesar Chavez Jr - Troy Rowland

Chaves tested positive for the diuretic Furosemide after this fight. Diuretics are used to help you lose weight fast, by stopping the body from absorbing water. Powerful diuretics can increase the flow of urine to about 6 litres per day. This means that Chavez, who puts on 20lbs after the weigh in, is able to bulk out and overpower his opponents on the night. He weighs more than Carl Froch in the ring, but he's fighting middleweights.
