What do you guys really think of the 168 weight divison?

    Its the 2nd or third best division in boxing right now. That is pretty impressive.

    I think alot of people share your view even if they don't admit it, and the evidence is in how they'll continue to rank fighters from shittier divisions (160,175) higher in P4P rankings despite 168 being ridiculously more talented.

    I personally don't share that opinion and think alot of the venom spewed towards that division has to do with how international it is. That is why I see Ward popping up in P4P lists now when nobody bothered to rank anyone besides Calzaghe from that division in roughly the last decade, and it took beating Lacy (a hyped American) to make that happen. Truth is, people always dis that division until an American does enough to make waves in it, at which point they always get the benefit of the doubt in rankings and hype. It's an odd phenomenon of seeing people knock the foreign fighters as Eurobums, and then whenever a US fighter wins, they get twice the credit despite nobody wanting to rank the foreigner prior to the fight. The only way for the foreign fighter to get ranked is to take out an American fighter- Calzaghe-Lacy, Abraham-Taylor.
