I predicted a Soto knockout for this fight. On another thread i said that the only chance Guzman would win is if he fought a boring fight. It wasnt so boring however he failed to impress me. at times he had his back to Soto while he literally ran away. I think those scores were way too wide too. Soto was pressing the whole time landing some nice body shots and it seems like the judges dont score those. He did need to cut off the ring better but i mean its hard when your rushing to catch your opponent. All in all congrats to Guzman even though he gave a disapointing performance in my eyes. Then again maybe im being biased.

Really?? I think he was just in there with a guy that stylistically is a nightmare to fight since you have to chase him to fight him. I would like to see him again as he looks like a guy who could give an entertaining fight.

Guzman defense is pretty slick though i gotta give him that. That kid can dodge punches like crazy. even from the ropes.

stfu you're a ******. Soto is a talented boxer and just because he losses to Guzman you ****s are going to write him off as a lesser skilled opponent? Get a ****ing life kid, learn about what it takes to compete on a world class level in the sport of boxing before you run your stupid ass mouth about which fighters you claim are "overrated".. You not only write Soto off as an athlete but its a good way to discredit Guzman's big win tonight. Another loser drops the "overrated" bomb, gtfo of here!

Soto is still a top super featherweight and this loss does nothing to change his ranking among the best at 130.

soto should take the belt away from paper chum mzonke fana. soto would beat that guy in 3 rounds max. i always thought guzman will beat soto by UD> i've never been sold by soto's performance and guzman was just too fast for soto.

soto will be a champ at 130 soon as pac could move up to 135 and i don't think jmm and guzman will stay at 130 for that long.

Soto is solid and he could give anybody in SFW fits. He needs more than that though to hang & bang with the top gunz. I was not too high on him when a journeyman like BobPac could hurt him though...

IMO he could beat JMM, Arthur, Fana, Casa, D Diaz, etc. And except for Fana, those fighters are no pansies either...

So you write off a quality fighter like Soto as "overrated" when the poor guy has been under rated his entire career? For the love of christ both Guzman and Soto have been underrated and ignored their entire career from facing serious opponents! And maybe you should learn how to score a ****ing fight and even tho I think it was a boxing lesson Soto won rounds 2 and almost 3 and he rallied at the end to squeeze out 10 11 and 12, ledermans card was dead on. Do some math 115-113 = a 1 point win. Yea Guzman looked spectacular but he gassed out because the mother ****er is weight draining to make the weight. Now spare us with your stupidity when you talk **** about these professional boxers.

Soto was who I thought he was. A good fighter, but not an elite one.
