After reading this crap about Froch and his butthuggers thinking he has a chance against Calzaghe I'd find It interesting to hear some ESB thoughts too.

Personally I think since Carl Is open to timed rights like Reid showed Joe's right southpaw jab will tag him easy and can pressure him on the ropes like many Joe victims, beating the granny out of Carl stopping him on over whelming him or a one sided points win.

I think Carl can be put on the back foot uncomfortably by workrate too but Dodson got caught with that bodyshot when trying It but Joe won't have that problem.

Froch's mouth Is as bad as Steve Collins sometimes. I thnk he might win a belt but only that far. He could of had an IBF eliminator against Bute but decided to fight Bute's victim known as Tatesvosyan who was coming off a loss to Bute a month and a half earlier.

He's had the right opponents and still got troubled by them as well.

It would be a good solid defence for Joe Calzaghe, nothing more.

I for one dont think Froch is on the same level, nor does he gets the British boxing publics adrenaline flowing.

Its not the right fight for Joe, Froch would be a step backwards.

He's even been offered a Calzaghe fight but turned It down and still says Joe Is avoiding him.

Froch's main attribute is his power. He's never fought someone with as much movement as Calzaghe so would be frustrated often. Froch is also quite stationary with pretty poor footwork & little head movement so would find himself tagged a lot. He would get the occasional chance to land as do most Calzaghe opponents but, as we all know, Joe has an iron jaw so he wouldn't be able to land regularly enough to trouble Joe.

Carl wouldn't be able to control the pace so would end up trying to fight Joe off him because he hasn't the savvy to keep out of trouble. In the end he'd most likely be TKO'd or pulled out by his corner before he became the next Lacy.

This is a nothing fight for Joe & unlikely to happen. If he picks the right fight The Cobra may win an alphabet but Kessler would destroy him also. I happen to think Taylor would box his ears off as well.

I beleive Froch is good enough to win a version of a world belt. but if he wants to be a world champion, Joe Zalghe is not the way for him to go about it.

Lets see how he does with Inkin.

Frochs defence is simply not good enough agaisnt Calzaghe. It would be simular to the Lacy fight, maybe even a stopage.

I do rate Froch, just JC is on another level.

I think it would play out similar to the Calzaghe vs Lacy fight and maybe JC could force a tired Froch to retire.

But you are assuming that JC's performance that night could be achieved again. Froch would have a punchers chance and if Calzaghe deceided to fight stupid like he often has in the past when the opposition a guy JC rate.

The SN fighter would more than likely get the refs help and the judges nod so it would be a fight that JC could look good in.

I hope Froch goes on to do well in his career but I doubt he will repeat the success of JC.

I'd like to see it in Calzaghes last fight.... Either Woods or Froch.

I doubt Calzaghe v Froch will happen. Calzaghe is looking at more lucrative fights at this stage of his career.

If it did you'd have to favour Calzaghe. Froch is talented and full of self belief but he is unproven at world level.

Hopefully he will step it up in his fight against Inkin.

The only thing I like about Froch is his uppercuts are devastating and the zagster is a little bit susceptable to them. Hopkins has a nice uppercut too btw.
