What do you guys think of these welters and middleweights ? They come from former soviet union so they aren’t young 26-30 , but have extensive amateur experience and are really skilled.
Who? Have they been fighting professionally? If so I have missed them. Or are they just getting set to enter the mix? Could use some more baddass middleweights.
Israil Madrimov - Decent skill set, with far too much unneeded hectic movement and showboating, it's pointless and expends far too much energy, his match against Walker worried me, a better fighter would have finished Madrimov in the middle rounds, he was badly gassing. Daniyar Yeleussinov - He runs hot and cold, he didn't impress me at all early on, but he's tightened up and improved on his flaws, and has looked great lately. Zhanibek Alimkhanuly - Same as with Daniyar, he started out running hot and cold, but his matches against Coria and Onulose greatly impressed me. His defense is far less porous, his combination punching is on point and his power seems to be improving. Shakhram Giyasov - Impressed me the least, he may have the most impressive power, but when you get rocked several times by Emmanuel Taylor, that's worrying. He's a glass cannon.
Not a fan of madrimov to be honest. Yeah he seems exiting but I just don't care for his style for whatever reason.
yea agree pretty much on it all. I actually think Daniar will be a champ. Israil also, but agree with you on too much unnecessary movement.
His defense is a little too porous at times, but thankfully, his offense, which is savage usually serves as his defense. So most opponents aren't even thinking about landing a counter, they're too distracted by the incoming barrage. So yeah, I like him, a lot. Of all of the guys from that part of the world, stylistically... he might be my favorite. Because he's certainly the most entertaining.
Zhanibek hits hard and moves well... he could totally win a belt in today’s depleted landscape at middleweight. The Brant fight is a good step up, if he styles in that one he should go after Andrade.
Best nickname in the business too. Madrimov. I'm a fan but I am slowly losing interest. Much smaller but Kamilov and Yaqubov both were very entertaining last time out.
Yes his defense sucks and his power is not that great either, but dude is pretty skilled offensively , so I like him , but not a big fan.
