What do you guys think of Slim Fast?

    just one thing some one could be 6.6ft and weight 200 odd pounds and still be overweight if you overall frame is "small". Tomas Hearns was a prime example of a very tall and very skynny boxer but then again he was a fitness freak...

    201 lbs.
    Thats only 5 pounds.
    Slimfast once a day for 3 days should work.
    You still eat, but no junk.
    After a couple big giant dumps, you should make 201 no problem.

    Trust me, it is because I eat too much food is why I'm over 201 right now. Not because it is bad food, I eat pretty healthy.

    I am pretty slim and when I was training diligently, I trained 6 hours a day and 6 days a week and was keeping my wieght around 195 to 197. Right now I am only training 1 1/2 hours a day and 3-4 days a week I am around 203. I am losing some weight.:happy(Not with slimfast of course) Also, please do not compare me to Hearns. Hearns is a legend, I am a nobody. Plus I am a straight up boxer, I couldn't break a shell if I hit it with a sledge hammer.:lol:

    Thanks, maybe a few slim fasts here and there would not be so bad.

    Looks like garbage to me.

    - Its only 220 calories. If you only ate 3 of those a day you would be ****ing starving and your metabolism would shut down. Its not enough for a "meal"

    - It only has 10 grams of protein. Thats not good for someone trying to loose weight and preserve muscle.

    - has a bunch of vitamins. Big deal, I get those in a multivitamin.

    - 40 grams of carbs. 5 of which are fiber which is good. But then 35 of those are sugar. That is as much sugar as a can of many brands of soda.


    I dont know how much they cost but its probably a rip off.

    dont get me wrong im not calling you tomas hearns bruv LOL im just saying to the people saying that 201 is a good weight for your height that its not that simple, some people are tall and have a light build so its possible to have a 6ft5 guy overweight at 201..(occasionaly)
    But i know where your coming from im around 195 for 6ft4 cant go lower without looking like a somalian .....and feeling very weak....and yea hearns was just a killer! i love his style his right hand was just TOO powerfull!
    and yea **** slimfast, just calcualte your total daily calorie intake and take away 500 calories from it and you will loose weight, also go running early in the morning before breakfast, great way to loose weight...

    i'm 5ft11 200 pounds and in very good shape. your legs must be like tooth picks are they?

    yea ive got long legs but im not really dispoportionate, they serve me well in muy thai, my knees dont have to travel too far to reach peoples heads!

    Starving yourself is never good..Just eat quality carbs protein and fat in good foods..eat smaller meals..work out hard..I have old school training beliefs..I use to down a slimfast post workout for the nutrients but would eat alot..i didnt use it for a meal replacement
