http://www.ringside.com/Ringside-The-Champ-Bag-Glove/productinfo/MFVBG/ They have a nice looking shape, and theyre normally 44.99 and on sale for 25$. Has anyone had any experience with these gloves? I dont need to have genetically engineered, high-tech, futuristic looking gloves, just something that doesnt suck. I actually like the plain, traditional looking gloves. This content is protected As long as they come how they look in the picture(and they are as confortable as they look), they are small and tight on my fist so i dont have too much wiggle room, and that the synthetic leather is not super hard(i tried on windy gloves in an MMA store and they were stiffer than margaritos handwraps) cause I dont like to feel like im pushing a boxing glove into the bag with my fist, i like to feel like im hitting a bag with my fists with protective padding.
Dont see anything wrong with them thats a good price. They dont look that heavy. If your using them for boxing trainin on bags pads and shadow boxing you should be looking for 16oz
Yea, I got 16 oz sparring gloves(which im also looking to replace cause theyre getting worn out) and 14 oz training gloves. I like mixing in heavier gloves into my bag and pad training to increase my shoulder stamina but I want to mainly use 12 ox for pad and bag for a little while cause i been away from training and using too big gloves on the heavy bag will decrease my handspeed and cause me to burn out quicker on the pads, which will make me perform worse for my coach lol. Although I spar with 16 oz(I weigh 145-150) should i also do all of my training with 16 oz gloves? And what do you think heavier gloves do for you? Better speed when you take them off? Better power when you take them off? Better stamina(this is what I assumed?)?
