Terence Crawford fighting John Molina December 10th. Imo it deletes him from becoming or contending for fighter of the year. It's a good fight to stay sharp and shows that Arum and Haymon can get along hopefully in the future.
It isn't a tough fight for him and proves nothing we didn't already know if it goes the way everyone expects it to. I've said before in other topics that I think this fight was made to make Crawford look good so people will hopefully buy a PPV headlined by him in the future. People complained about how boring the Postol fight was and that was a lot of people's first exposure to Crawford which hurt his brand. I think they are trying to recover and build him up again after that. I expect his next fight after the Molina fight to be against another soft opponent.
Didnt that eastern european pussay trovanpussy or w/e his name is turn down a fight with crawford? I wanted to see that fight, not to excited about this, but it'll watch.
Very disappointed with this. Crawford has so many options and is choosing Molina Jr Please no more Molina's, Dulorme's etc.
It's a decent fight ,Molina is coming from a good victory over Provodnikov and he entered the top 10 rankings in 140 after that
Troyanovsky isn't putting up the belt against someone like Crawford with just a 5 week camp. Hasn't the Japanese deported your mongrel ass yet?
It's not really any less competitive than a fight with Orozco, and allows Top Rank and PBC to work together (setting a precedent for further match-ups down the road). It's not great, but I'm OK with it.
