What do you hate the most in boxing?

it s not just the best not Fighting the best. it´s the fact that contenders refuse to fight eachother……...yet still get world ranked and title shots.

take jarrell miller for example: he is a legit contender by todays Standards.....but he never faced a top ten Heavyweight!!! try that **** in any other Sport and People would laugh you out of town!

 

Not an option: but fanboy crybabies who whine over every close decision.

 

So true, this needs to be a choice. I mean yeah robberies suck, but what's worse is fanboys crying robbery after every close fight or acting like every close fight is a robbery !

Live scoring might mean even more robberies, with judges deciding scoring for the home fighter be the judicious choice as their scores are flashed up on the big screen in front of a baying crowd...

Well that's exactly why it should be implemented! If a fighter is winning yet knows he's being robbed then at least he will have the opportunity to put things right. True it may cause the unfair leader to coast but it's better than cheating a guy who may have been able to do more but didn't because he thought he was winning the fight comfortably.

 

I don't believe that at all tbh, if a judge is going to rob someone then he will anyway. They should still be held accountable and banned if necessary. It still gives the wronged fighter the opportunity to put things right in the ring before it's settled by the judges.

 

It will make it more likely a judge will score in favour of the home town fighter. Under the current system, the fight is over and the scores finalised before anyone has a chance to react to it. Live scoring would expose judges to being influenced 12 times by what is often a very intimidating atmosphere.

Robberies. It’s completely and utterly disgusting it happens time and time again and nobody is held accountable for it. The next generation will look at GGG and think he was great until he stepped up but Canelo was too good for him. Same with Kovalev with Ward. We know how it really went down. Two recent examples of legacies tarnished by corruption.

When a fighters gets robbed his whole team does. All that hard work, sacrifice and dedication from the fighter along with his trainers and coaches ruined by corruption. The worrying thing is you don’t have to be a superstar with a huge reputation to get favours, look at Wilder.

 

The scores are finalised when they put the pen to the paper, it doesn't make a difference if the fans can see what they are writing or not.

 

That was how it really went down lol. Canelo was just too good for GGG. GGG got outboxed in the first fight but got a gift draw and got outslugged and out manpowered in the rematch.

GGG was great . . . until he stepped up. Canelo was just too good for him.

With Kovalev, his legacy wasn't tarnished by corruption. It was tarnished by being brutalized to the body by Ward in the rematch. Even if Kovalev had gotten the decision in the first fight, it was close enough to warrant a rematch (as was Canelo GGG 1). Ward's body assault on Kovalev and Kovalev wilting from them didn't have anything to do with the judges decision or corruption.

Wilder not only got favorable judging vs Fury, but he also got favorable judging vs Ortiz. That's two fights in a row that many judges gave him rounds that most fans on here didn't have him winning.
