I like the fact that he finishes fights and doesn't leave it in the hands of judges and make for controversial decisions. Guys like Ruiz who's every fight is a UD or SD and there is always complaining about the result not to mention boring as well. And he always comes in great shape unlike many other HW's these days.He has a killer instinct great chin and is in there to hurt people. I don't like his frequent injuries and that he has held up many fights because of them.
Gotta dislike the fact that the guy had the talent to be great but ended up quite an underachiever. He may make up for some of the lost time, but will never fullfill his potential. If he beats Peter, that will be his best career win.
The only thing I don't like was his inactivity as champion and injuries. Other than that he is my favorite heavy of the post lewis era. I love his mean spirit, aggressiveness, and heavy hands.
Extremely disciplined and professional in his approach to his training/conditioning, as well as the sport of boxing. Very involved in many charities that help less fortunate children. Being the first heavyweight titleholder to ever hold such an advanced degree of education (PHD), he obviously is a rare blend of advanced physicality, AND intellect............. The guy has an amazing amount of ambition and inner drive to do everything he can with his life, and also use his name to help bring attention the helping the less fortunate. As well as having never been taken of his feet in the ring, never been behind on the cards, and his only two losses were not KO losses, nor decision losses. Granted, Lewis did beat him, but not in a decisive enough fashion to deem who was the better fighter.
They both seem to be helping poor people over seas, while many others likely booz and party their money away
i like this post, think it goes for both bros.. the tko to bird was dissapointing, ball redemption came in the lewis bout also like the comeback after being injury prone...gives hope to injury prone fans
He hasnt fought in 4 years. Now consider if he does beat the WBC champ after being gone for 4 years and being 38 years old, then would that undermind some of your accusations? Especially considering the one that he isnt worthy to have a shot at Peter's belt?
That's pretty much my point...he was blessed with some great physical gifts, other than that he is nothing special.
There is a misconception that some of you guys are just saying, but not really knowing. Vitali didn't quit against Byrd because he flet like quitting. The man was in severe pain. This was a fight he was winning too. Do the research on why he quit because I'm not going to give out details. I'd rather you come to the conslusion yourself. There is nothing I dislike about Vitali. Like any fighter, he had trouble accepting defeat against Lennox, but other than that, I've always liked the guy.
And if Tyson couldn't hit hard, we'd never have heard of him. And if Ali wasn't fast, would he have won a title ? And if.......... ........ your uncle didn't have balls, he/she would be your aunt.
Still got your fingers in your vagina when you think about me huh, honey...??? No suprise you take it there...I don't want to cyber right now Ok...???
