He seems a good man and a tough competitor. He's a good fighter. The only problem I really have with him is his trouble with injuries. And his fans.
Likes - the way hes makes use of his size, his toughness & conditioning. Dislikes - his nose. Not sure if he waited until the fight was stopped against Lewis before the "nooo!" antics.
I like how he shows up like his brother in shape every fight. Vitali does not trash talk and carries himself like a professional inside and outside of the ring especially the work that him and Wlad do for UNESCO which provids schools and funding for those schools in third world countries.
How do you reconcile that statement with his recent behavior during the "it's my belt" debacle...??? Boxfarmer.
Doesn't talk trash, like when he said "my left hand puts them into the hospital, my right hand puts them into the graveyard"?? Carries himself like a pro? Like when he shoved Lewis and almost started a fight after the undertrained old Lennox beat him? Like when he got in Corrie Sanders's face and started telling him how he was going to beat him, because Sanders did his job when he beat Wlad (beating an in-shape top contender like Wlad, when has Shitali ever beat an in-shape top contender?). Like when Brittley got caught juicing for the Olympics? Then again, he did use the excuse that all pros use. "I didn't know what I was taking".
No use schooling a boxfarmer alias TS... He's incapable of learning. School him today, he'll repeat the same **** he started with tomorrow...like it was never refuted.
His busy workrate, dedication to performing at his physical best, and unusual style. Also his political convictions. His near-messianic, can-do-no-wrong status amongst his fans, and some ungenerous moments towards opponents he feels personally slighted by.
My only problem with him is his body betrayed the public of a dominating ATG. The Byrd fight does not bother me as much because I have received conflicting reports about the pain from guys his size that have had rotator cuff injuries...
