What do you look for at a weigh in?

Weigh-ins always invite some tea leaf reading to try to figure out who has the advantage, but what can you really tell?

Some of the usual indicators people look for are dry or pale skin, sunken eyes/cheeks, lethargic movement, whether they rush for water after making weight, and how they act during the staredown.

Do any of these things matter? What do you look for? If you bet, do you take these signs into account?

I treat the weigh ins mostly for what they are a publicity opportunity for the promotion, certainly when it comes to the heavyweights there is no other purpose than publicising the promotion.
