What Do You Prefer: A **** Talker or A Humble And Quiet Fighter...

Calzaghe is hardly a trash talker

 

Most of the times the so-called humble fighters are being fake and PC. They dont believe the **** that they are telling fans, they just know that it makes them come off better then being a bash *******...On the flip said sometime fighters that talk alot of sh*t dont really mean what they are saying and they are doing it in order to get to the other guy, and /or to sell the fight.

I agree witht his post. Some fighters are just about the fight itself and don't like to talk...that's fine, but some are about the promotion of themselves and for the fight and do "extra" in order to build the hype. I feel it's good to have different personalities. In most great DRAMA's in entertaiment, sports or otherwise there are "Good vs BAD" and some are able to fit these roles perfectly and those are usually very successful events where many are drawn in to watch what unfolds. Nothing wrong with that. Boxing is a sport but also a business with entertainment value. People need to accept the multi layers of everything that is boxing from the fighters to the promotion.

 

I prefer the quiet guy who let his fist talk.

 

**** talkers always have always will. They bring more excitement than a guy who's quiet and humble. With that said I do have my limits guys like Miranda for example talk **** all the time and go out and get KTFO or outboxed.

 

I agree with what you say about Froch. That's why I think with continued success fans may warm to him.

 

PBF is 39-0 has won 95% of his fights with ease, has lost only a handful of rounds and has put on some of the best boxing clinics of the past 15 years. I'd say he backs up his talk quite well.:deal

Talking **** out of nowhere is boring/annoying.

Well, not always, there are some funny **** talkers, Mayorga is one of the few.

I like Roy too. Floyd's **** talk makes me cringe.

 

I really can't answer. If a dude is a winner, he can do what he wants.

 

I can relate more with the quite humble guys but i like a **** talker as well. But if your gonna talk trash you better be prepared to back it up.

I prefer a guy that does his talking in the ring. Anyone can talk **** before a fight. Look at idiots like Glass Jaw Zab Judah and Roy Jones. They look like clowns talking **** and then getting KOed in a fight. Do your talking in the ring.
