What do you rank as Roy Jones best ever perfromance in a fight he won?

In retrospect we can see that Hopkins is a better fighter.

Jones badly beat both them. But since Hopkins is the better fighter shouldn't that make it a better win?

 

Either the Kelly, Grant, Hall, Frazier, or Woods fight

Roy was sensational vs. Hall too, a guy that gave DM plenty of trouble.

 

What if Roy moved down to CW after beating Ruiz, and fought for a title there?

 

He'd probably have been criticised.

At the time they fought James was heads and shoulder's more dominate than Bernard. It was a far better win.

It would have been a very hard fight. Very cagey I think, with not much action.

And if he'd have won, I don't think he'd have gotten much credit. And he'd have been pressured into fighting other HW's, which if he hadn't have done, would have resulted in him getting a huge amount of criticism.

Roy spent large parts of his career being in a no win situation.
